The Nelson City Council's electricity department continues with its policy of removing two-pole sub-stations and putting them indoors. The latest is in Gloucester Street where the huge transformers have been taken down and transferred into concrete sheds. At right the transformer is eased into its new home. And two more unsightly poles bite the dust.
