The Haase family has pure printer's ink running through their veins. We're sure of it. Noel and Stan Haase, between them, have been in the printing business for 86 years as members of the staff of Stiles and Co (Noel, 40 years, Stan 46). In Christchurch, a third brother, Cyril, is head linotype mechanic with "The Press", with whom he has served for about 40 years also. Both served their time in the industry, and today Noel is travelling for the firm and Stan is a guillotinist.

At a farewell by staff and management, Chris, left, was presented with a watch by managing director, Mr Lloyd Cole, and on behalf of the staff, Mr Ian Sharland also made presentations to him.
