When Fred and Dorothy appear, so also do the ducklings

Four years ago a pair of ducks hatched their ducklings on a site Close to the home of Dorothy and Frank Fryer, Green Street, Tahuna, and they were fed by them. The pair (or the female, at least) knew she was on to a good thing, and she has returned each year to her old nesting site and has brought her brood to the Fryers for feeding also. This year the Fryers have attended to the needs of 26 ducklings which are so tame that they will enter the house in search of food. Some family;
