St. Joseph's Drama

The culmination of drama and elocutionary lessons given by Miss Frona King to Form 11 pupils of St Joseph's Convent during the year was a drama evening in St Mary's Hall. The pupils performed three plays to a packed house - Chinese versions of "Sin-da-ray-la" and "Sleeping Beauty" and an excerpt from "Oliver Twist".

The court scene, featuring Kevin O'Donnell (Mr Brownlow), the clerk (Kevin McMullan) and the Magistrate (Philip Costello) was well handled.
