Honey, the eyes of Mrs Maire Gedye, walks her mistress along Halifax Street, guiding her through the pedestrian and motor traffic. Mrs Gedye and her Golden Labrador seeing-eye bitch, Honey, came to Nelson during a tour of South Island cities, a project sponsored by the Round Table organisation. In each city Mrs Gedye lectured on blind welfare work.
