Geology Course

Amateur geologists from all parts of New Zealand and from all walks of life attended the residential school for amateur geologists conducted in Nelson by Victoria University, Wellington. During the course, members travelled extensively throughout the province to such places as Canaan, Mount Heslington and Pepin Island, as well as areas closer to the city. (Pix by S. J. Cherz).
