New Home For 2XN

When the studios of Station 2XN were destroyed in the fire which ravaged two Trafalgar Street buildings late last year, the Broadcasting Corporation had to find a new home for its local station pending the building of its own block. And so the studios joined the commercial side of broadcasting in the Cml Building. Announcers and technicians had to put up with very cramped conditions until last month when additional rooms were altered to allow separation of the technical and announcing staff.

The most modern technical equipment is now being used (here being assembled by Sandro Barnao and chief technician, Laurie Merrick.)
