Garden Party At Melrose
Melrose, the rest and holiday home of the Women's Division of Federated Farmers was the scene of tremendous activity late last month when the division's annual garden party was held. Only the weather detracted from an otherwise successful day – it was overcast but just remained fine.
Lots of activity around the big house set in wonderful gardens
Official guests: Mesdames B. Mordaunt, C. E. O'Connor, M. Strawbridge, L. Masters (acting provincial president), E. Hawker (councillor, W.D.F.F. ), M. W. Palmer and K. Glasgow.
