At Motor Assemblies
A number of families employed by Motor Assemblies in Christ-church followed the firm in its transfer to Nelson. They are:-
Leaving the store in Haven Road and shifting to Wellington are Mrs Carol Jansen and Henry, Frances and Robert. New proprietors are Jan and Peter Julius (left) with their family of Lisa and Catherine. They've come here from Wellington.
Roy Castle, who's living in Collingwood Street.
The family of Jack and Val Callender, Barbara, Graham, Robert, Maxine (back), Jean-ette and Kevin. For Val it's a return home.
Living with friends in Selwyn Place is Andy Waine.
