The "Cam Busters"
Most teenagers today are interested in cars, but if you're looking for the enthusiast, then you have to go to a car club or, in Nelson, to the Cam Busters' Club. This club was formed by a group of young men whose enthusiasm for cars and their performance occupies most of their leisure hours. Not content with owning and driving a "jalop", these youths remodel, recondition and hot up their vehicles for the fun they get out of it. Nor are they irresponsible in their pursuits. The club, a properly constituted one, has its own headquarters in Songer Street, and its rules are strict.
