Some of the 14 lambs born to six ewes on the property of Mr and Mrs H. Wylie, Main Road, Stoke-There were two sets of triplets and four of twins - a lambing percentage of 233 1-3 per cent.

Mrs Roma Parker, 17 Hinau Street, had every reason to feel satisfied with the showing of her Maltese toy dogs at the Fida national dog show at Wellington. She won every major award in the Maltese section and her dog Miracle Treasure (above left) was judged best of all toy breeds. Of the three cuties at left, each won its class. The two from right are champions.
