Junior Basketball Season Ends
Another very successful season for junior indoor basketball players came to an end recently at both Stoke and Nelson. On the final nights trophies won during the year were presented, On this page are pics of the Stoke wind-up, and on the next, the Nelson end-of-season function.
The Swifts, who received a trophy for the team having the least number of points scored against it: Lynne Bryant, Susan Jury, Suzanne Watson, Noeline Fox, Sharlene Goff, and Marilyn Nicholl.

The Nelson Y. M. C. A. was packed with competitors and parents for the end-of-season function. Winning teams were presented with their shields and trophies by the superintendent of the Nelson Hospital, and a director of the Y. M. C. A., Dr H. J. H. Hiddlestone.
