Handicapped Trainees At Work

The new sheltered workshop of the Nelson Intellectually Handicapped Children's Society in Bolt Road is a busy place. Inside, the seven trainees working under the supervision of the manager, Eric Causer, are making a variety of goods ranging from babies' cots to card tables and folding picnic tables. We popped in recently and found all of them hard at work and enjoying it thoroughly.
