Young Wives' Drama Festival

The first diocesan drama festival undertaken by Young Wives groups was voted an outstanding success. It was obvious when the finals were presented to a packed house at Stoke that every member of the casts had spared neither time nor effort to reach a high degree of proficiency. The groups were competing, for the first time, for a rosebowl presented by Mrs Adam Landels. It was won by the Cathedral group.
