Snow On The Ranges Brings Frost On The Plains

The main topic of conversation in Nelson in recent weeks has not been the Springboks, but the weather. And little wonder! Frosts of 14, 15 and 16 degrees in parts of the city kept us all shivering. But for a long period we- had to consolation of beautifully sunny days after the frosts. Here we show the cause of all the shivering and the talk - the Tasman range and the foothills covered with snow after a very cold southerly storm last month. The pic was taken on Waimea Road, and overlooking Enner Glynn.
