Make And Model Contest

A two piece dress and coat of forest green wool made and modelled by Evelyn Copp, of Motueka, won for her the right to appear in the national finals of the Make and Model contest. Miss Copp won the Nelson section of the competition from a field of more than 80 contestants. The contest was staged in the store of McKay's Ltd, before a tremendous crowd.
