The Great Escape

Feature attraction at the Spring Grove school gala recently was a young school teacher, Michael Chamberlain. As "Indana" he performed amazing feats - driving a car over an obstacle course blindfolded, walking over hot coals, and lastly escaping from a water-filled barrel that had had the lid bolted down. Not only was this lid bolted down, but split pins were used to ensure that the nuts could not be turned from the inside.

About 20 minutes later he was found sitting on top of the barrel -still securely fastened.
