Mouse In Orbit

Warren Aston, a pupil of Nelson College, has long been enthusiastic about all matters concerning space flight and exploration. For several years he has conducted his own experiments with rackets (most of his own manufacture), with varying degrees of success. Recently, however he decided the time had come for manned flights. So he constructed a capsule to fit in a rocket and an ejector device and parachute. On this first historic flight, he took us along to record pictorially the flight and recovery of the first astromouse.
