"O New Zealand"

Before presenting "O New Zealand" at the PanPacific Arts Festival in Chrlstchurch, John Caselberg, formerly of Nelson, and his Kohatu Players gave two performances of the work in Nelson. "O New Zealand" consists of early New Zealand verse and prose, including many letters exchanged between Maori and pakeha government officials at times when their views conflicted sharply. Some of these were tremendously interesting.
