Christmas In Nelson

Well, folks, Christmas 1964 has come and gone. From what we*ve heard around town, most people agree that it was a quiet Christmas period, but after the pre-Christmas rush, that was all to the good. As usual, Santa Claus made his appearance in a number of stores and throughout the city he officiated at parties. As usual, also, the true significance of Christmas was celebrated with carol singing and church services, all of which were wellattended.
