A Rip Roarin' Western Mardi Gras

Howdy, folks, and welcome to four pages of pics of the old west. Now we ain't fer braggin', but we reckon as how this year's Mardi Gras was the best yet. Yessir! Thar was injuns awhoopin* and ahollerin*, a fella with a arrow plump daid centre of his back (and he astili on his feet) and all manner of cow pokes and gals makin* whoopee till the witchin* hour. And such shootin* as was done by the Lavengro mob - wal ya could scarce believe your eyes. And they do tell that thar were about t7,000 folk awaking merry in Trafalgar Street. It sure were a real hot time in the old town that night. And you see that character over left, thar, wal, that's "Cham the Man* Neville Chamberlain, who was crowned King of this 'ere Mardi Cras by Jaycee president, Lynn Gamble. And this big pic up above, wal, they're all the folk what was awatchin' the radio talent quest.

The American touch was provided by Grosvenor Guards, who had put in a lot of practice as majorettes.
