Radio Appeal For Whareama

Nearly £5000 towards the cost of providing additional hospital beds at Whareama Home was promised in a radio appeal over Station 2XN early last month. The appeal, sponsored by the Lions Club, was considered a great success although the target figure was not reached. Donations, incidentally, are still being accepted, so if you haven't contributed anything, and wish to do so, the Lions Club will be very pleased to hear from you.
