Haven Road Progress

Work has commenced on the last section of the re-formed Haven Road - the section to be taken around the side of the Moller Fountain. The last section will probably prove the most difficult: In some places trees will have to be felled, a shed removed and rebuilt and the roadway laid.

The outer line of oak trees will have to be cut down.

The kerbing and channelling of the existing roadway, and the widening of the footpath is well under way.

The small shed housing the machanism for the Moller fountain will be shifted and a new one built on the triangle in the background alongside Maori Road.
