National gymnastic championships

Auckland competitors at the New Zealand gymnastic championships held in Nelson left no doubt as to the strength of this very vigorous and graceful sport in their province. All of the men's A grade titles were won by Auckland competitors and only eight of the 24 placings throughout the championships were not won by Aucklanders. The highlight of the meeting was the demonstration concert at the conclusion of the championships. The Y. M. C. A. gymnasium was packed to the doors and hundreds were turned away.
