Cleaning Up Shakespeare Walk

In a year the Jaycees commence and complete many projects, but it is doubtful if any of them have exceeded in magnitude the task of converting a wilderness, known as Shakespeare Walk, into what will become a favourite scenic spot. Much of the work was handled by machinery (a vast quantity of which was made available by local contractors), but many hands were also needed to manhandle logs and weeds, and there were plenty of them. The one disappointment was the apathetic approach of the public who had been invited to help with the job. But to those Jaycees who were there, we extend our congratulations on a first-class job.
