A Festival Of Music

After having our ears assail-ed by screams and shouts which accompanied the Beatles while they were in New Zealand, the melodious voices of the Vienna Boys' Choir and the New Zealand Opera Company were like water to a desert castaway. The choir played to capacity houses at two performances in Nelson and the Opera Company delighted smaller houses with its presentation of Mozart's "Cosi Fan Tutte". The opera told the humorous tale of a wager made by two young men bound for war, that their two sweethearts would remain faithful while they were gone.
