Golfing Grannies Gambol at Greenmeadows

Forty-three grandmothers, including two great-grandmothers and a grandmother of 77, competed in a tournament specially organised for them at Greenacres Golf Club, Appleby. Many younger players from clubs around the district acted as caddies for the grannies who wished assistance in this direction - but there weren't many. Suffice to say everyone had a wonderful time.
