Competitions Festival

The May holidays provided many youngsters with musical or dancing aspirations with the opportunity of having their talent assessed by experts, at the annual competitions festival at the Theatre Royal. All told there were 810 contestants and, as usual, the smooth organisation that characterises the competitions every year ensured that the events were run off without a hitch.
