It's goodbye to well-known Andy Garriock, Chief Traffic Officer at Nelson, who has been transferred on promotion to Takapuna. With him are his wife Mildred, Rob and Donald. Rob, still in Nelson, will transfer to Auckland in a month.

From Stewart Island is the family of Constable Owen and Pat Randell (John, Anthony, Susan and Brya). Constable randell is stationed at Stoke.

Carl Anson, for nine years outside foreman with Mobilgas, will, with wife Marjorie, leave Nelson to farm in the Walkato.
