Richmond Trio Wins T.V. Talent Quest

A packed house in the Majestic Theatre left no doubt as to its choice in the final of the talent quest conducted by Coles. By an overwhelming vote, May Rakete, Pauline Ngaiterua and Gladys Mclsaac, pupils of the special school for girls at Richmond, were awarded first place and the super-duper TV set that went with the award. And they certainly deserved it. Just as thrilled as they were at winning this wonderful prize were the other girls at the school, for the set has been installed in their common room.
