Henderson–Henry. At St Stephen's Church, Invercargill, Jocelyn, daughter of Mr and Mrs C. H. G. Henry, Invercargill, to Derek, son of Mr and Mrs G. S. Henderson, Shet-land. Attendants were Laurie Sutherland, Merle Taylor, Mrs W. J. Hillis, matron of honour, sister of the bride, and Graeme Henry, best man. Elizabeth Tait and Joanne Hillis, niece of the bride, were the flower-girls. All were from Invercargill. Future home, Motueka.

Mrs Eleanor Patterson, aged 94, a well-known old Nelson lady, whose family have had a long connexion with Nelson dating back to their arrival in New Zealand in 1849.
