Our Cover

No Nelsonian has to be told that the scenic attractions of our province are more numerous and varied than any other province in New Zealand. They are all round us. Our coastline is particularly attractive and there are many spots which can be reached by road within an hour or two's journey of Nelson city. One lovely little spot is Tapu Bay, just at the back of Stephen's Bay, where on a windy afternoon we captured this shot of rollers surging around Big Rock.

St Barnabas's Church, Stoke, one of the most picturesque churches in the province, recently celebrated the 100th anniversary of the laying of its foundation stone.
