Meet the Chimps
Three chimpanzees, travelling with their owner-trainer, Mr Allan Horobin, have created tremendous amusement in the Motueka district in recent weeks. The chimps are highly-trained and their antics have been enjoyed by thousands of children and adults wherever they have performed.

Rita seeking applause at the Motueka Convent was not disappointed in the response.
"A tune? Sure, but what'll I play?"
"Oh yes, something to fit my mood."
"I'm told I've an exquisite touch"!
"Who pinched middle C?"

"Hey Charlie, Fred Hamilton doesn't grow a bad line of baccy, does he?"
