Hospital in the Swim

The most amazing feature of the Nelson hospital nurses' swimming sports was that our photographer returned home dry. It soon became obvious that nurses are no respecters of persons on their sports night. As proof of this, we offer the pic below of the assistant medical superintendent, Mr D. W. Low, being persuaded to take a plunge. The girls had a tremendous time, as they always do, and just for the record, we'll admit that although fearful of what would happen next, we enjoyed the evening also.
