Our Cover
November may not have been a particularly good month as regards weather, but for the yachties who spend most of the weekends on Port Nelson the fresh breezes were ideal. Our cover pic was taken during the opening day races, when wind, sun and sky, plus the colourful sails of the yachts, combined to give us this pleasing pic.

Elsewhere in this issue we have published a double page picture of Nelson to the north, taken from the Grampions. This picture was also obtained from this wonderful vantage spot, showing Nelson College in the foreground with the Public Hospital buildings and Nelson Intermediate behind them.
