Field Day at Tapawera

Youngsters attending the Tapawera District High School paraded the stock they have cared for during the year before the Judges recently, when the school and agricultural clubs field day was held. It was a big event for the kiddies and it was obvious from the amount of grooming and fussing given their charges before they entered the show ring that the kiddies took their jobs very seriously. An excellent means, also, of getting the farming fraternity together for a day to discuss all sorts of interesting farm topics.
