The Nelson Photo News

Christmas Greetings

With this issue of "Photo News" we come to the end of another busy year. We would like to take this opportunity, therefore, of extending to some organisations and individuals our appreciation for help given us during the year. Included in this category are the commercial photographers who have supplied prints of many functions; to the police, who co-operated with us in any matters affecting us both; to the city council and harbour board officers who have kept us informed of items of general interest in their spheres and who co-operated with us in the gathering of "Photo News" copy, and to all the secretaries and publicity officers of all the organisations who kept us informed of coming events. To those many people who have told us during the year: "You should have been at such and such a show the other night. It was real good." To those people may we say: "Please don't tell us of the great shows you went to after they were held. Tell us beforehand so that we can be there."

And to all our readers-we have something like 42,000 of them-in Nelson district, in New Zealand and overseas, we wish you a very happy Christmas and a bright, prosperous and above all, peaceful 1964.
