Flagship Launched

Since a sailor without a boat is about as useful as two left shoes, the launching of the Achilles Sea Scouts' flagship at Monaco last month was a momentous occasion in the life of this young group. Blustery winds and a cold day did not make the conditions pleasant, but they did not deter a large crowd of parents and supporters from attending the launching.

Mrs R. Murphy, wife of harbourmaster Captain Murphy, names the boat Achilles in traditional manner.
