Hoiday Leisure for Youngsters

At least 300 Nelson children did not find time hanging heavy on their hands during the May school vacation. A holiday programme organised by the Nelson Y.M.C.A., which included an incentive course called operation challenge and which carried as its reward a certificate signed by Peter Snall, Don Clarke and Arthur Lydiard, was very well at-tended. For the smaller fry there were sendcestls and marble competitions and a scavenger hunt.
