Young Talent on the Stage

The 29th annual competitions festival in Nelson drew more than 750 competitors from an area between Tauranga and Rakaia, and for a week the Theatre Royal rang to the skirl of bagpipes, piano, tape-recorders and dancing feet as each entrant attempted to outdo the others.
