How would you like this bloke coming at you when your rifle had jammed? Brian Ricketts and Newt Baigent were, happily, not in this position so were able to shoot this boar. It was taken in the Dovedale area, and when dismembered and weighed at home, he weighed out at 420 (the head was 361b).

We don't want to keep thrashing the state of Tahuna Beach but this pic sent us by Tommy Brett showing a navigational aid washed down by stormy seas lately, certainly highlights the need for something to be done at Tahuna quickly if we want to retain our main money-spinner.
