Flying Classrooms

We live today in the air age, and it is not surprising to find that the use of aircraft for more and more projects are becoming increasingly popular. The aircraft have been converted into flying classrooms in many cases and pupils have been given a firstclass opportunity of studying New Zealand from above. Recently, the Dannevirke High School sent a Friendship-load of pupils into the Nelson area on a geographical tour and while the aircraft was in Nelson, N.A.C. took the opportunity of introducing local high school geography teachers and head prefects to the "flying classroom" with a courtesy flight over Nelson and Marlborough.
