City council men and machines have been hard at work for some time reconstructing Maire Street, off tha main road through Annesbrook. The job is now wearing completion. giving residents a much easier drive into their properties.

The old coach-building business and forge of York and Sons, Greenwood Street, Motueka, as it was in 1895. This building was destroyed by fire in 1928 and is now tha site of a new concrete garage.
