Mr and Mrs R. J. Le Cren, of 245 Main Road, Annesbrook, got quite a shock when a 50ft macrocarpa bough crashed on to the roof of their home in the early hours of the morning. In falling, the bough also crushed a small caravan (at right) and effectively knocked down the chimney.
