"Where's Charley?"

By the time this issue is on sale, the Nelson Operatic Society's production for 1962, "Where's Charley?", will have come and gone. We can only hope, therefore, that you enjoyed it every bit as much as we did. To Lynda Hastings, the producer, we extend congratulations for getting so much out of her cast; to John Blumsky, in his first big role, a big hand-clap for a masterpiece of acting in the very-exacting and strenuous role of Charley, and to all the members of the cast for their rich singing and laugh-provoking acting. And finally, to the orchestra under Eddie Harvey, for the very important part it played.

And now, just a criticism. We, and the public, we are sure, enjoy the operatic productions so much, that we feel it is high time the society gave serious thought to producing twice a year. So what about it?
