"Starnight Revue, '62"

Nelson certainly has had its share of the touring theatrical shows this year. Probably the most spectacular was Harry Wren's "Star-night Revue '62", a show which went with a bang and a swing from the outset. Glamour Birds (all goils) danced their way through many routines in a diverse array of costumes and there were many spectacular acts, undoubtedly the best being those of Freddie Morgan (of Spike Jones fame), Montego (a juggler of extraordinary ability) and the Five Otharis (trampolinists who had their audience sitting on the edge of their seats).

We wish we could produce fivers out of thin air with the dexterity with which Ken Little-wood produced pigeons.

Two more of Montego's wonderful acts - at left two knives act as supports for a heavy globe and right perfect balance allowed him to juggle and spin five balls at once.
