Inter-College Rugby

A strong forward pack which swept all opposition before it in the second half paved the way for the Nelson College First Fifteen's a 20-3 win over Hutt Valley High at Nelson last month. The first half was more evenly fought, Nelson holding only a 3-point lead at the change-over. There was some good play, but too often chances went begging through lack of thrust among both sets of backs, particularly in the three-quarter line. The Nelson forwards, however, played extremely well.
