Wairarapa Teams Well Beaten

Men's and women's indoor basketball teams from Wairarapa suffered heavy defeats at the hands of Nelson teams when they visited the province last month. The women's team held its own with Nelson for half the game, but later slipped badly. The Nelson men's team had an overwhelming win.
