Snow White and the Dwarfs

They had read the book and heard the songs, but it was not until last month that hundreds of Nelson kiddies had seen "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". Kerridge-Odeon brought the show to Nelson and the local children showed their interest by packing the Majestic. And not only the kiddles got a big kick out of it - parents also loved this lively show.

Interviewed shortly after arrival by Sylvia Monk of 2XN were Paul (King) and Joan (Snow White) Sharratt and six of the seven dwarfs, Sneezy, Happy, Sleepy, Grumpy, Doc, and Bashful.

The King, a great hit with all the children, disrobes and shows a placard, not in the original story.

The Dwarfs (look, Dopey's missing again) return from work to find their cottage occupied, and none is keen to enter first.
