Professional Mat-Men were Entertaining

A near-capacity house at the Y.M.C.A. gave vociferous support to the antics and wrestling ability of four professional wrestlers at the first of such bouts to be held in Nelson for a long time. Kangaroo Kennedy (Australia) and Ric Wallace (Wellington) had the main billing, but the better of the exhibitions was provided by Steve Rickard and Dick Zolonski. Kennedy won by two falls to one and Richard won the other bout with a fall in the last round. All in all, however, a lot of fun, thoroughly enjoyed by the crowd.
